Sudan’s Emergency Operations Centre reported a stable national health situation in Week 46, with cholera and dengue infections falling by 50%. Authorities recorded 42 cholera cases in four states and 1,504 dengue cases in ten states, while malaria remains high.
Al-Gezira continues to report water-related hepatitis, and IDP arrivals from El-Fashir are increasing. Field activities—waste collection, inspections, vector control, health promotion, and immunization campaigns—continued nationwide.
Dr. Montasir Mohamed Osman urged strengthening routine operations, improving dengue response, supporting Red Sea State during the rainy season, and better assistance for displaced populations.
