Adviser to the President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Amjad Farid, said he agreed with the Chairman of the Turkish Parliament’s National Defense Committee on the importance of working toward designating the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia as a terrorist organization.
Farid said he exchanged views with the Turkish official on the crimes and violations he said were committed by the RSF militia, noting that designating it as a terrorist organization would create legal and political complications for entities and countries that continue to support, finance, or invest in the chaos it has created.
