The United Nations Secretary-General’s Personal Envoy to Sudan, Ramtan Lamamra, affirmed that Sudan is experiencing one of the largest humanitarian crises worldwide.

During his meeting with Prime Minister Kamel Idris in Port Sudan, Lamamra underscored the UN’s commitment to supporting efforts aimed at improving the country’s political, security, and humanitarian conditions, in a bid to alleviate citizens’ suffering and bolster pathways to stability.
