Sudan’s Federal Minister of Health, Haitham Mohamed Ibrahim, reviewed arrangements for launching the National Strategic Plan to combat dengue fever during a meeting with the national team, along with numerous experts and advisors.
The meeting addressed accelerating the work of the plan’s committees and drafting key axes, including health promotion, community roles, integrated interventions, and the integration of epidemic control strategies for diseases such as malaria, dengue, and cholera.
The Minister praised the efforts of both local and international experts and anticipated the imminent launch of the strategy under the auspices of the Prime Minister.
