Sudan Airways (Sudanair) announced the resumption of flight operations through Khartoum International Airport starting Thursday, Feb. 12, 2026, in a move signaling the gradual return of national air traffic and stronger regional connectivity.
The national carrier said it will operate two flights on Saturday, Feb. 14, as part of a phased plan to restore services and respond to passenger demand.
Sudanair said ticket prices will start at 400,000 Sudanese pounds (about 120 US dollars), adding that direct services will connect Khartoum with Jeddah, Riyadh, and Cairo.
The airline affirmed that the restart marks a significant step toward reviving national air transport and facilitating travel, strengthening Sudan’s regional and international connectivity.
Sudanair added that its return to Khartoum International Airport reflects its commitment to serving citizens and expanding its destination network, reinforcing the role of the national carrier in supporting Sudan’s aviation sector.
