Al-Affadh, Al-Dabb, (Nabaa Sudan) – The Sudanese American Physicians Association (SAPA) said its medical team at Al-Affadh Camp provided emergency medical treatment to internally displaced persons (IDPs) who were injured in a fire that broke out inside the camp.
In a Facebook post, the association said displaced families were living in closely packed shelters made of thatch and plastic sheeting, amid strong winds and the use of open fires for cooking, warning that a single spark could trigger a disaster.
