Federal Minister of Health Dr. Haitham Mohamed Ibrahim met with representatives of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), the International Organization for Migration (IOM), and the Sudanese American Physicians Association (SAPA) to discuss strengthening partnership on joint health projects and developing a unified proposal for donors, particularly the World Bank.
The meeting reviewed the ministry's priorities for health system recovery, as well as partners' efforts to support maternal and child health, healthcare services for migrants, internally displaced persons (IDPs), and returnees, and the rehabilitation of health facilities. Participants also stressed the importance of coordinating efforts to ensure the sustainability of health services and enhance the sector's capacity to address current challenges.
