Khartoum (Nabaa Sudan) – The Sudanese National Council for Medical ‎Specialisations held talks with a delegation from the Italian Emergency ‎Organisation on ways to strengthen cooperation, develop specialist ‎training programmes and follow up on the conditions of doctors ‎undergoing training at accredited hospitals.‎

The meeting, held at the Council’s headquarters in Khartoum, ‎addressed joint coordination to monitor the progress of the training ‎process and discussed opportunities to expand the range of medical ‎specialities and increase the number of trainees at accredited ‎hospitals, in support of medical qualification and training ‎programmes.‎

The two sides are expected to sign a memorandum of understanding ‎next week, incorporating the agreed amendments and regulating ‎areas of joint cooperation.‎
