West Kordofan (Nabaa Sudan) – The Dar Hamar Emergency Room said members of the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia are registering commercial vehicles traveling from the Kulejo area in Wad Banda locality, West Kordofan State, to Al-Mazroub and El-Obeid. They record the vehicle owners’ names and submit them to an RSF commander identified as Abdel Halim, accusing the owners of cooperating with the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and providing them with information.
In a statement, the Dar Hamar Emergency Room explained that the vehicles transport goods and essential consumer commodities for local residents. It added that the same group repeatedly detains vehicle owners and demands money in exchange for their release.
The group said these practices are placing further pressure on commercial vehicle owners and threatening their livelihoods, while also disrupting the transportation of goods and supplies to residents.
