The European Parliament has condemned war crimes and human rights violations committed in Sudan, particularly during the siege of El Obeid, and called for those responsible to be held accountable.
The Parliament also called for the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) to be designated as a terrorist organization, urged sanctions against those supporting the group, and called for an end to the supply of weapons to the RSF militia.
