Khartoum, (Nabaa Sudan) – In an exclusive interview with Nabaa Sudan, Darfur Regional Government’s Information Minister, Professor Ahmed Shanab, issued strong warnings about the complex situation in the region, considering the proliferation of weapons and the spread of corruption to be “time bombs” that threaten stability as a whole.
Shanab outlined strategic visions for the country’s future, affirming that “Sudan cannot be built through fragmentation,” and declared his full support for an inclusive Sudanese-Sudanese dialogue that would lay the foundation for a “New Sudan” based on territorial unity and the rule of law.
He also stressed that the political process serves as a support for the army rather than detracting from its strength, while giving the highest priority to reconstruction, care for displaced people, and rebuilding people and the media in the post-war phase.
