Prime Minister Dr. Kamil Idris met in Khartoum on Tuesday with Adviser for Women and Child Affairs Suleima Izhag. The meeting discussed the priorities of the adviser’s overall plan and future arrangements for the office.

Suleima Izhag said the meeting was the first since the establishment of the Women and Child Affairs Advisory and her appointment as its head. She noted that the Advisory aims to enhance attention to women’s and children’s issues, particularly as they are among the groups most affected by the war.
