Vice-President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) Malik Agar met in Port Sudan on Monday with Saudi Ambassador to Sudan Zaid bin Mukhlad bin Zaid Al-Harbi, praising the deep-rooted fraternal relations between the two countries and commending Saudi Arabia’s positions in support of Sudan’s stability and unity, as well as its humanitarian assistance.

The Saudi ambassador affirmed his country’s keenness to further develop relations with Sudan and strengthen joint cooperation. He said the meeting discussed developments in Sudan, efforts to promote stability, restore normal life and support recovery efforts, stressing Saudi Arabia’s interest in Sudan’s security and territorial integrity.
