Sudan’s Minister of Health, Dr. Haitham Mohamed Ibrahim, met with a delegation from the US-based Humanity Organization to discuss ways of strengthening joint cooperation in support of the health sector in Sudan.
The meeting addressed prospects for collaboration in restoring health services, improving maternal and child health, and developing specialized training programmes for health personnel, in addition to coordination mechanisms for implementing health interventions in targeted states.
The Minister reaffirmed the ministry’s commitment to expanding partnerships with international organizations, commending the organization’s efforts and its commitment to continuing support for the health sector in the coming period.
