Damazin (Nabaa Sudan) – The command of the Fourth Infantry Division in Damazin announced that its troops, alongside allied units, had repelled an attack launched by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militia and Joseph Tuka’s group on the areas of Bakouri, along the Geisan axis, and Sali, along the Kormuk axis.
The division said the attackers had suffered heavy losses in personnel and equipment, and that their attempt to breach the positions had been foiled.
Commander of the Fourth Infantry Division, Major General Ismail El-Tayeb Hussein, affirmed that the forces would continue to protect the Blue Nile Region and repel attempts to undermine its stability.
