Khartoum (Nabaa Sudan) – Minister of Minerals, Nour El-Daem Taha, discussed with Minister of Communications and Digital Transformation, Ahmed Dirdiri Gandour, the progress of the ministry’s digital transformation projects and plans for their completion, with a view to enhancing data integration and improving institutional efficiency.
The meeting, attended by Othman Hammad, Acting Director-General of the Sudanese Mineral Resources Company, addressed the network integration project linking the ministry’s headquarters with its technical units, affiliated institutions and companies. Discussions also covered the digitisation of procedures and services and making them available online to facilitate transactions and expedite their completion.
The Minister of Minerals affirmed the ministry’s commitment to completing the remaining stages of the project. Both sides agreed to strengthen coordination and make use of the technical capabilities of the Ministry of Communications to support digital transformation and improve government services.
