Khartoum – A medical convoy organised by the British Doctors of Rahman has arrived in Khartoum, comprising 46 specialist doctors from Britain, Ireland, France, the United States, South Africa, India, and Pakistan.
The convoy is carrying quantities of medicines, medical devices, and equipment donated to Sudan. Its members will be deployed across four cities, including Khartoum, to perform surgeries and provide free medical treatment to patients across all specialities.
The Sudanese Embassy in London said it had overseen all arrangements for the convoy in coordination with the Ministry of Health, the relevant state health ministries, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, under the sponsorship of the Humanitarian and International Organisations Adviser to the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC).
